Brían Bourke 80th Birthday Exhibition performance

Celebrating Connemara-based artist Brían Bourke in his 80th year, The Galway ConTempo Quartet will perform a special concert on Thursday 9th June at 6pm during an exhibition of his work, Obsessions – Themes and Variations – Preoccupations, in Galway Arts Centre.
The programme will include selections from Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 14 – Op. 131, Elgar’s String Quartet in E Minor and Schubert’s Death and the Maiden (String Quartet No. 14, D. 810).
