The Galway Music Residency, with Galway-based artist Finbar247, present a very special interactive audience experience on Wednesday 10th May at 7pm at PorterShed, Eyre Square, Galway. This unique and exciting event marks the first in the current series of ConTempo/raneous, the Galway Music Residency’s series of cross-genre collaborations with Galway-based artists.
During an intimate performance by the ConTempo Quartet, the audience will become the artists, facilitated by Finbar 247. Reacting directly to the music that the ConTempo Quartet performs, they will work to create a visual representation of their collective experience as an audience. A totally fresh approach to live music performance, with the focus on the process rather than the final result, this will be a truly meditative event.
This is a standing, participatory 1 hour event. Some seating will be provided for those requiring a rest. Spaces for this exclusive experience are limited so early booking is advised. Tickets: €10 - book here or purchase on the door
