Beidh ceolchoirm speisialta lóin le ConTempo á reáchtáil ag an Galway Music Residency Dé Luain, an 25 Iúil ag 1pm in Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge ar an gCeathrú Rua, mar chuid de Chamchuairt Contae ConTempo.
Is deis iontach é don phobal – idir dhaoine óga agus aosta – scoth an cheoil clasicigh agus comhaimseartha a chloisteáil, ina measc ‘Eine Kleine Nachtmusik’ le Mozart agus ‘Nocturne’ le Borodin. Seinnfear píosa speisialta leis an gcumadóir Éireannach, Dave Flynn, darbh ainm ‘The Cranning’, ina mbeidh veidhlíní, vióla agus olldord le cloisteáil in éineacht leis na píoba uillinn! Cuirfear deireadh leis an gceolchoirm le píosa deas spraoiúil le Haydn, darbh ainm ‘The Bird’.

The Galway Music Residency presents a very special County Lunchtime with ConTempo in Acadamh na hOllscolaíochta Gaeilge on Monday 25th July at 1pm. Celebrating the summer, The Galway ConTempo Quartet will perform a fun, lively concert for all the family.
From Mozart’s “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” to Borodin’s famous Nocturne for string quartet, this lunchtime programme is set to delight children and adults alike this July. Irish composer Dave Flynn’s piece “The Cranning” will be a special treat, showing how a string quartet can sound like the Uilleann Pipes! And finally, the sounds of the season will fill the venue with Haydn’s string quartet “The Bird”.
