The Galway Music Residency presents a very special Family Lunchtime with guests The WhistleBlast Quartet in St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church on Tuesday 2nd August at 1.10pm. Introducing audiences of all ages to classical music, The WhistleBlast Quartet will take us on a musical journey meeting exciting characters along the way.
This fantastic interactive one hour concert, including Prokofiev’s famous Peter and the Wolf, will be performed and narrated by the WistleBlast Quartet, Ireland’s leading quartet for young audiences. Listen to lots of different styles of music, from Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty to James Bond, and get involved with the interactive performance! This diverse and engaging concert is an imaginative introduction to live music and a wonderful introduction to various musical instruments suitable for all the family.
